SolarCity is a national leader in solar power system design, financing, installation, monitoring and related services.  It was founded with the mission to help millions of homeowners and businesses adopt solar power, protect themselves from rising electricity costs and protect their environment from polluting power sources.

The company’s first-of-its-kind SolarLease offering makes it possible for homeowners to switch to clean, solar power for less money than they currently pay for electricity. We first met SolarCity during the RFP process last year.  We were pleased to learn that one of their goals is to create and encourage community purchasing programs, like the one we were then working on.  Throughout that process, SolarCity was inevitably the first to provide answers and support, and always treated the process with seriousness and respect.  Although SolarCity did not get selected last year, based on our decision to select a local vendor, and had no idea that we would launch a second program, they continued to treat GoSolarMarin in the same way. 

Each and every person we have dealt with, and there have been many from the Founder/CEO to the system designers and the switchboard operators, has been informed, patient and generous with their time and expertise.

While this history did not affect the selection of SolarCity as GSM2 vendor of choice, which was based on the criteria discussed above, it does make our decision a very happy and gratifying one.  We can recommend their performance, based on their history, ratings, and  regard for GoSolarMarin, with full confidence in their professionalism, dedication and ability.
